30 Days: Day 7- A picture of your most treasured item

I would have to say my home is my most treasured item I own! This one took me awhile to think of because I do have a lot of nice things and a lot of things I really do love. I think the hardest part about it was everything I own, everything that I consider mine can be replaced. I think my home is most treasured because it is something I have spent a lot of time with and for.

2nd Anniversary

On Thursday, November 10, 2011 I had my second anniversary with my dear sweet husband, love of my life, and best friend! I figured I could share the way we celebrate!

The worst of it all started at about 1 am. I had woken up slightly uncomfortable and decided to roll over. With out knowing it I had an elbow firmly planted on the tubing of my diabetic pump, as I rolled out came the sight. With it being so early in the morning and obviously not awake yet I continued my roll to fall back asleep. I must have said ouch or something because next think I knew I had woken up Preston. He slightly frightened me as his hand came towards my stomach. (later I found out he was trying to catch the blood running off my stomach before it hit the sheets) He got up to wash the blood off his hands, I woke up enough to see the blood running from the right side of my stomach to the left and pooling in between. Once the lights were turned on I was able to see the blood on both hands, across my stomach and on my right leg. After the bleeding stopped we were able to get all the blood off of both of us and the sheets changed. I remember waking up later asking Preston if it was a dream or real, so this is my evidence to mostly myself that it really did happen.

That day, like any weekday, Preston had work, and I had training for a new job. Preston calls me as he is getting off work and tells me he needs to run down to Provo to get something and then he will home. I asked what he needed down there and of course he told me oh just something. Well when he got home he gave me this beautiful bouquet of flowers. Gerber Daisies are my favorite flower, so he got me three and an arrangement to go with it. He says there are three to celebrate the upcoming third year of us being together. Again I love flowers so I took several pictures of all of them.  

 After I got done with my new hire training I came home and started writing down reasons I love Preston on sticky notes I had purchased about a week prior. It was fun writing them down and posting them all over our

condo and the fun paid off when Preston came home with flowers he came home to a house filled with lots of colorful reasons he is loved. It was a great exchange. It was fun to follow him around the house and listen to him read them out loud. 

On one of our most memorable dates, Preston and I went to this Italian restaurant named La Dulce Vida in Provo, now it is our go to place. We go there whenever we find an excuse to go so of course an anniversary is as good as any and that is where we enjoyed dinner together.

After dinner we went over to Provo mall and watched Real Steel together. It was a great movie I really liked it. Including us two there was a total of 4 people in the entire theater. It was great! I guess either Thursday nights are not a very popular day for movies or something.

After the movie we went back home and enjoyed the rest of the evening together!

30 Days: Day 6: A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day

I would love to be a little kid again! Just for one day! Not have to worry about bills, money, work, or my hair. That would be swell! Oh the life of a kid!

30 Days: Day 5- A picture of your favorite memory

  

 I would have to say my most favorite memory would be the entire day I married the best man on the planet! I am so thankful for him and the big and small changes he has made in my life. I am so thankful for all the love and support I had from my family and friends!

I have had many other GREAT memories as well!

Yesterday, Preston wasn't feeling too good so we went to bed early last night. He was already laying in bed as I finished brushing my teeth. I walked into our bedroom to test my blood sugar when I got my reading I told Preston to guess what it was. (This is a regular after testing activity) He says, "a number between 1 and 10."
I told him "yes, there is actually 3 numbers between 1 and 10 in it, and it is right where I want to be, and they all add up to 8. I will give you a hint the first one is 1."
He rolled over to look at me and with his half asleep voice says, "134."
I giggled a little bit (he is actually really good at guessing) and said, "close just flip around the last two numbers and you got it."
He thinks for a second and says "134."
I start laughing and once he realized what he had said he started laughing as well. It is just another thing that he does that makes me laugh, and I wanted to share.

30 Days: Day 4- A picture of your night

 So I went looking through all of my pictures I have, and there are some pictures of things that have happened to me at night that I have taken pictures of. (Like the night my kitchen faucet broke while I was doing dishes) Good thing for good friends that know how to fix things like that in little to no time.

Then I got thinking this is probably something that I am doing tonight or something that happens regularly at night. I started thinking, I spend a lot of time on my computer, or watching movies (preferably Disney ones) and thought, ya that would be boring to see me, eyes glazed over staring at a screen that you can't see.

 


So I went back to thinking. Then I remembered I started doing Zumba a few weeks ago, that would be something I do regularly (3 days a week is "regularly", right?) that I could put up there, then back to thinking thought ya a picture of me sweaty and gross dancing around my living room... not something I want to post on my blog so I found pictures of the pros and decided that would work instead.



So, there you have it. A good variety of things that happen (some more often then others) on my night.
